The airing of Stephen Colbert's visit to Third Man Records in Nashville resumed on The Colbert Report Wednesday, with the host/comedian urging Third Man head Jack White to produce a new Colbert single.
"Guarantee me the song we cut is gonna win me a Grammy," Colbert challenges.
White's approach toward that end: pairing Colbert "with some real musicians" and seeing "where we go with that." Said real musicians: Nashville's The Black Belles, who'll appear on The Colbert Report Thursday with the host.
"With your qualities and their good looks and musical talent, we can probably put something together," White tells Colbert.
